DUNWOODIE and GILLIES worked together for the first time in 1997 on the award winning production of Opera on a Shoestring's Tosca. After a substantial gap, where Christina was performing in opera and Annette was continuing with her highly successful career as film, television and theatre designer, they got back together for the UK Premiere of La Prigione di Edimburgo for Edinburgh Grand Opera. They followed this with productions of Carmen at the Lyceum, Don Giovanni at the Queen's Hall and La Traviata at the Kings Theatre. They began exploring  the use of enhanced storytelling techniques into the productions with scripted characters, digital and multi media and dance attracting full audiences and financial success to the company.

Keen to develop their ideas further in the shape of Tosca the Henchman's Tale they started their company PRIMAVOCE. The show premiered at Oran Mor and then on to the Haddo Arts Festival. They also experimented with mixed genres in Torch Song Diva with Elaine C Smith, a quirky concert of Love Hurts opera sweetmeats and a daring experimental production with opera, on screen narration and a digital soundscape in Love Death and Destiny.

Currently they work as an artistic team on the World Premiere of Wilde the Opera (in development) and are in collaboration with artistic partners in Europe on an exciting project to be announced
